Cased Luftwaffe Observer Badge. Type Friedrich Linden, Lüdenscheid (FLL).

Tombak/brass based and in a good, worn condition. The wreath with all of the silver plate and patina. The eagle with most of the dark oxidised finish.
Not marked but a known variation that has been attributed to the company of Firma Friedrich Linden, Lüdenscheid (FLL).
The fitting case in a well used condition. The lid somewhat loose on the hinge. Some of the corners missing the covering material. Embossed in gold on top of the lid with the designation „Luftwaffen Beobachter Abzeichen“. The inlet covered with quality sprayed felt and the inside of the lid with blue satin.
Very uncommon maker.
